Life groups

They're bigger than you think!

In times of need and times of fun, Life Groups are your source of friendship and support. They are your key to developing connections with those who share your interests or people who are dealing with similar life issues.

Life Groups are an opportunity to reach out to others, while growing in your walk with the Lord. Groups meet once a week in homes, businesses, restaurants, or at the church. The groups change and begin again three times a year, so you have the opportunity to try out different ones. You'll never fully experience all that ROLC has to offer until you connect in a life group!

Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.

Acts 5:42

Small groups were vital to the church's growth then, and they are just as vital now.

What are Life Groups?

Life Groups at ROLC are places where you can connect with people who share your interests, people who are at a similar stage in life or people who have expertise in an area where you would like coaching. There is a wide variety of groups offered. We have recreational and creative activities as well as groups that focus on parenting and marriage provide coaching in important life skills. Those facing all types of abuse, alcoholism, addictions, divorce, depression, and disabilities will find people dealing with similar issues. Children and youth meet in groups that address their needs for fun and friends. Young marrieds can join together in activities that nurture their marriages and provide for lifelong friendships. For seniors, there are groups where the skills they've spent a lifetime developing are used to train and serve others.

Life Groups offered reflect the people at ROLC and continue to change and develop with the interests and needs of the people.

What are the groups about?

Our groups are as varied as we are; group leaders use their gifts and passions to create a group that allows others to join with them in serving God. Whatever your age or interest and if we don’t have it there is always the possibility to start one that's just right for you.

When can I join one?

New groups start three semesters each year: spring, summer, and fall. Most groups are open to new members throughout the semester. Find a group, contact the leader, and get going!

Where do they meet?

ROLC Life Groups meet in various locations throughout the tri-state region. Most small groups meet in homes although there are some that meet at area businesses, parks, restaurants or at our church facility.

Who can participate?

ROLC Life Groups are open to everyone in the community.

When do they meet?

ROLC Life Groups meet at various times each week.
